What’s Keeping You Grounded?

I have been asked a few times, “KP, how are staying sane (happy, straight, calm, making it, etc.) through these trying times. My answer is simple and not simple at the same time:

1) I’m reading the Word more, along with other inspirational works. They remind me to trust my Creator and leave all my worries with Him;

2) I’m spending more time with my family. This is helping me to appreciate them more. We’re also learning how to work together better as a team;

3) I’m exercising more. Exercise releases those feel good chemicals in the brain that help keep my mood positive;

4) My flowers! If you have been following me for a while, then you know I LOVE my flowers. Planting and watching them grow is therapeutic for me. I am so grateful for my flower babies!

Sounds simple, right? Sure does! But sometimes pains, personalities and unexpected plans can disrupt your peace. Always work to find your way back; I know I do!
