Doing My Part

Got another 3 miles in this morning. As of today, I’m down 40 lbs with another 10 to go to meet my PCP’s 50 lb weight loss goal. Hopefully before the year is out, I will be taking less meds.

This week reminded me of one thing: I have to take my meds, eat right, and exercise for my numbers to be in a healthy range. If I neglect any of these areas, my wellness plan will not work.

While COMPLETE REST means COMPLETE FAITH, that doesn’t mean I do not have an active role in my life. I do my part and my Creator does His. I just have to do better on my part❤️

  1. Congratulations on what you have accomplished so far. You are so right about we must do our part and God will do His part. If you do not mind, I would like to share my story with weight. I have never like going to the gym but two and half years I felled in love with the gym. I started taking BodyCombat and Bang classes. If you ever get a chance to check one out, you will love it if you like HIIT.

I was taking the classes three days a week, and I saw how my body started to tone. But when you are in Menopause like me that weight is stubborn. So, one day I decided to pray about it. These were my exact words. I said Lord you created me; this menopause is stopping me from losing these few pounds. Everything else on me has slimmed down. But this stomach which is my muffin top. I laid hands on my stomach and said Lord I need you to shrink this belly. In the name of Jesus.

I take Cholesterol medicine and blood pressure medicine and my sister God did it for me. My total cholesterol is under 200 and my triglycerides are less than 150. Now I had to do my part as well. I changed my entire eating I have been eating clean foods for about three years.
Thank you for allowing me to share this. The same God that did it for me will do it for you. AMEN
