This probably sounds weird, but one of the most memorable “Ruthisms” for me is this – “Keischa, always pay your bills on time, even if you only have gas and food money left. And always have good credit.” And I was a teenager when she told me that!!! Sadly, I have not always adhered to those principles, but she did her motherly duty and told me lol
